Umno Youth chief Datuk Muhammad Akmal Saleh is turning to an unusual fundraiser after losing a RM300,000 defamation suit: he is auctioning off his Honda X-ADV motorcycle and his pet tilapia.
The Melaka High Court ruled yesterday that Akmal had slandered Seputeh MP Teresa Kok over the halal certification issue. He had also called her “nyonya tua”.
