WASHINGTON : Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the subject of an ICC arrest warrant, on Sunday bashed former prosecutor Karim Khan as a “con job”, following his dismissal over allegations of sexual misconduct. Khan successfully pushed in 2024 for Netanyahu and other Israeli officials to be charged with alleged war crimes over the Gaza war.
The move, which sparked the ire of Israel’s ally, the US, has complicated Netanyahu’s travels to countries that are members of the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC).
