SEBERANG PERAI : The government will make an announcement tomorrow concerning the possibility of hosting a Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. “For F1, we will announce something on Sunday,” he told reporters briefly on the sidelines of an event here.
SIC hosted the Malaysian Grand Prix from 1999 to 2017 before it was removed from the calendar due to rising hosting costs and licensing fees.
