SEREMBAN : Police have opened 14 investigation papers into election-related offences during the campaign period for the Negeri Sembilan state polls as of yesterday. Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said five investigation papers were opened yesterday under Sections 427 and 435 of the Penal Code for causing mischief by fire, and causing loss or damage to property.

He said they concerned cases of party flags being set on fire, and campaign banners and a billboard that had been vandalised.
