PETALING JAYA : Barisan Nasional chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says he wants the Negeri Sembilan government to have two Indian executive councillors if the BN-Perikatan Nasional alliance wins the Aug 1 state election. “If a BN menteri besar is appointed after the polls, I want two Indian executive councillors,” the Umno president said, according to Berita Harian.
Zahid said the community’s support for MIC was returning, pointing to the BN component’s haul of four seats in the Johor state polls on July 11.
