The BN chairman says this is possible as the two coalitions share similar goals.

From the original report

PETALING JAYA : Barisan Nasional has sought to ease concerns over competing pledges with Perikatan Nasional, saying the two coalitions can align their manifestos if they succeed in forming the next Negeri Sembilan government. BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the two coalitions merely had an “understanding” to jointly contest the election, which did not change BN’s commitment to implementing its own manifesto, Sinar Harian reported.

“BN’s manifesto is for BN, and we will implement it if the mandate is given to us again,” he was quoted as saying after meeting members of the Chinese community at Kampung Pachitan, Chuah, today.

This is a brief of a report by another newsroom. The excerpt below is from the original.
