Immigration busts syndicate supplying undocumented foreign workers to employers

The immigration department said the syndicate’s modus operandi involved offering services to obtain temporary employment visit passes (PLKS) believed to have been illegally issued through the immigration department’s foreign worker management system, which was purportedly compromised.

The syndicate is believed to have targeted foreign nationals in the Klang Valley who lacked valid passes or had overstayed, supplying them to employers who needed workers.
