KL-Karak highway expansion expected to finish in 2029

He said the project, which began on March 9, would widen the Gombak-Genting Sempah stretch from three to four lanes, while the Genting Sempah-Mempaga stretch would be expanded from two to three lanes.

“Under our contract with the concessionaire, AFA Group, the project was expected to be completed within four years, in 2030,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying at the groundbreaking ceremony for the project today.
