Staff member has resigned over flag gaffe, says MCA

MCA deputy president Dr Mah Hang Soon said the incident involved an elderly staff member tasked with putting up the flags, both of which were quickly taken down and reinstalled correctly once the error was noticed.

“The staff member expressed deep regret and voluntarily offered his resignation, which Perak MCA accepted,” said Mah, the Perak MCA chairman.
