CelcomDigi Announces Three Programs As Part Of Next Phase Of CD:NXT

First launched last year , this is a long-term effort built to cultivate Malaysia’s next generation of digital leaders. The telco says that the new phase is centred around three component programs and initiatives, with the aim of meeting “the evolving needs of the digital economy while supporting the nation’s long-term ambitions, in line with the aspirations of the Rancangan Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia (RPTM) 2026 – 2035”.

The first of these is what the telco calls “campus@celcomdigi”. It’s described as the first-of-its-kind program in the country that “bridges classroom learning with industry experience to equip students with practical skills through hands-on workplace engagement”. As part of this, second-year students at partner universities are sent to “take on real business challenges as part of their coursework and receive ongoing mentorship from industry practitioners”. Selected final-year students will then “undertake industry residencies at CelcomDigi’s dedicated on-site campus at its headquarters”.
