Unesco honours Tunisia’s Sidi Bou Said for centuries of Mediterranean culture and charm

The decision was adopted during the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee, which is being held from July 19 to 29 in Busan, South Korea.

In a statement, the ministry said the site was recognised for its outstanding universal value, citing its distinct architectural identity, rich cultural heritage, and centuries-long contribution to Mediterranean civilisation.
