KUALA LUMPUR: More than RM5 billion in financing will be channelled through 15 funding agencies and financial institutions over the next 18 months, as Putrajaya steps up efforts to help Malaysian technologies reach the market.

From the original report

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Chang Lih Kang said the funding pool will support startups and innovators at different stages of growth, although applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set by each participating institution.

"We have connected 15 organisations, including funding agencies and financial institutions. Together, they provide funding worth about RM5 billion to support our startups and innovators," he told reporters after launching the TechnoMART Malaysia: High Tech Financing 2026 event at MBSB Bank Tower today.
