KUALA LUMPUR: Unisem (M) Bhd's net profit rose 8.5 per cent to RM9.91 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, from RM9.13 million a year earlier, as revenue increased 20 per cent to RM570.12 million from RM475.15 million.

From the original report

The semiconductor packaging and testing group said the stronger revenue was driven by higher sales volumes across its key operating units, although earnings growth was partly offset by higher operating expenses.

For the first half of the financial year, however, Unisem slipped into a net loss of RM3.45 million from a net profit of RM15.14 million a year earlier despite recording higher revenue.

This is a brief of a report by another newsroom. The excerpt below is from the original.
