KUALA LUMPUR: Ekovest Bhd's largest shareholder Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo has given his undertaking to inject up to RM355.85 million into the group via its renounceable rights issue, which could see his stake exceeding the 33 per cent of the share base.

This is due to Ekovest undertaking to issue up to 1.78 billion new ordinary shares at 20 sen each, on the basis of three rights shares for every five existing shares held.
"No exemption will be sought by Lim and his parties acting in concerts from the obligation to undertake a mandatory offer," stated Ekovest in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
