Anwar wants F1 windfall shared with small traders

He said the economic gains from F1, with Sepang set to host the Bahrain Grand Prix as a replacement race in October, should not be confined to large restaurants and established businesses.

"I want the area around Sepang, apart from the large restaurants, especially the outer layer, to have stalls set up for lower-income groups so they can operate businesses and benefit from the event," he said during the Temu Anwar programme with Negri Sembilan Form Six and polytechnic students today.
