Christy Ng, company awarded RM180,000 damages in defamation suit

The court also ordered the defendant, J. Vikneshvra Rau, to pay interest and RM10,000 in costs, as well as publish a public apology in three newspapers and on his social media accounts.

In a press release issued by Ng and her company, they said the award followed a default judgment entered on Feb 13 in their favour for defamation, the tort of harassment and unlawful interference with their trade and business.
