Haze forces last-minute cancellation of PJ Half Marathon

In a post on the PJ Half Marathon's Facebook page about two hours ago, the organisers said the decision was made after taking into consideration the Air Pollutant Index readings, as well as the health and well-being of the runners.

"While the latest forecast indicates that the Air Pollutant Index may improve over the next 24 hours, the reading remains within the unhealthy range, which may have an impact on the health and well-being of our runners, volunteers, crew and everyone involved in the event.
