MACC lodges police report against Muhyiddin's lawyer over alleged document disclosure
KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer has lodged a police report over the alleged disclosure of a classified document linked to former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's corruption trial involving the Jana Wibawa programme.
According to the police report, an investigating officer informed the MACC officer that the document had allegedly been disclosed by Muhyiddin's lawyer, Datuk Amer Hamzah Arshad, during proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur High Court yesterday.
The report stated that at about 6pm, Amer Hamzah produced a document containing a copy of a recorded conversation involving Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad, who has been repeatedly mentioned during the trial.
