SINGAPORE: Two Malaysians were arrested at Singapore's Tuas Checkpoint for attempting to smuggle more than 10kg of cannabis worth over S$203,000 (S$1=RM3.20) into the republic by hiding the drugs in their motorcycle.

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said the 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were stopped upon arriving at the checkpoint on Sept 15 on a Malaysia-registered motorcycle following information received from the ICA's Integrated Targeting Centre.
In the course of the checks, ICA officers uncovered four bundles of vegetable matter believed to be controlled drugs underneath the motorcycle seat.
