KUALA LUMPUR: Some of the eight children detained in a nationwide operation targeting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) were found to have produced and sold animated child sexual abuse material online.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk M Kumar said the material was sold to online communities with similar interests, with some pieces reportedly priced at between RM50 and RM60.
