High-profile cases keep courts busy this week

The courts were abuzz with a teenage murder trial, Interpol's assistance sought to locate former research officer Yusoff Rawther, former Lembaga Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim's court appearance, three more alleged gang members being charged with murder and a corporate chief executive claiming trial to cheating charges.

Yusoff's case took another turn after the prosecution sought Interpol's assistance in Manchester to locate him as it moves to personally serve an appeal notice seeking his presence at the Court of Appeal in relation to his acquittal, instead of having him participate in the proceedings online.
