KUALA KRAI: Six men were arrested after authorities uncovered illegal mining activities in Kuala Nal yesterday, with machinery, vehicles and iron ore worth an estimated RM2.98 million seized during the operation.

The raid was conducted under Op Bersepadu Khazanah by the General Operations Force (GOF) at Batu Mengkebang in Kuala Nal.

GOF Southeast Brigade commander Senior Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Radzi Hussain said the raid was carried out at about 1pm by personnel from its Eighth Battalion.
