8 detained, RM785,263 untaxed liquor seized in Sabah
BEAUFORT: Police have detained eight people and seized 650 cartons of untaxed liquor and three lorries, with the total value estimated at RM785,263.50.
Beaufort district police chief Superintendent Champin Piuh said the operation was conducted by the Wildlife Crime Bureau/Special Intelligence and Investigation Division of Bukit Aman's Department of Internal Security and Public Order, with assistance from the Beaufort district police headquarters Criminal Investigation Division.
