Parliament Malaysia Open Day 2026: What you need to know before you go

If you have ever wanted to step inside the halls where Malaysia's laws are made, you are in luck. Following its public debut in May 2023, the Parliament of Malaysia is opening its doors once again for Program Hari Terbuka Parlimen Malaysia 2026.

Held in conjunction with the Parliament's 67th anniversary, this year's open day carries the theme "Merakyatkan Parlimen: Reformasi Institusi Perundangan Malaysia" . The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between lawmakers and the public. Speaking to Bernama , Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul explained that the event aims to bring the public closer to Parliament and allow Malaysians to experience the country's "House of Democracy" first-hand.
