Gentari and BYD Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the deployment of BYD's Flash Charging technology in Malaysia. The collaboration aims to expand ultra-fast EV charging infrastructure beyond showrooms, including along major intercity routes connecting key population centres.
BYD's Flash Charging technology is capable of delivering up to 1.5MW which would provide approximately 400km of driving range in just five minutes for compatible EVs under optimal conditions.
