CHUKAI : The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is conducting an investigation into the owner of the Facebook account 'Ahmad Mu'min' following a post, which is suspected to contain elements of sedition and insult against the royal institution, the Malaysian government and the PDRM.

Kemaman district police chief Supt Mohd Razi Mohd Rosli said the investigation under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948 and Section 233 of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 is being conducted after a report was received from a 29-year-old man at 11.14 am today.
