MALAYSIA'S unsubsidised retail prices for RON97 petrol, RON95 petrol and diesel will each be reduced by five sen per litre for the period from Aug 6 to Aug 12 under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced on Wednesday.

Effective Aug 6, RON97 will retail at RM4.35 per litre, down from RM4.40, while unsubsidised RON95 will fall to RM3.77 per litre from RM3.82. The unsubsidised diesel price will also decrease to RM4.57 per litre from RM4.62.
