MCMC Finalising Rules For Cross-Border E-Commerce Platforms

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said MCMC has the authority under Malaysia's existing legal framework to license e-commerce platforms, but is waiting for the relevant ministries to provide the terms and conditions that will govern the licensing process. She said MCMC is ready to proceed once the framework and necessary instructions are in place.
