After southern Thailand blasts, Wisma Putra tells Malaysians to think twice before crossing border

The Foreign Ministry, also called Wisma Putra, said no Malaysians had been reported affected by the incidents in Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat, but advised those residing in, travelling through or planning trips to the affected areas to remain vigilant and follow local security instructions.

“Malaysians residing in, travelling through, or intending to travel to and from the southern border provinces of Thailand are strongly advised to exercise heightened caution, remain vigilant, and strictly observe all safety advisories, curfews, and security instructions implemented by local authorities,” it said in a media advisory today.
