Malaysia Airports brings early airport development project and procurement visibility to East Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: East Malaysia-based companies are gaining early visibility of upcoming airport development opportunities as Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd accelerates infrastructure development and asset renewal across Sabah and Sarawak.
The Malaysia Airport's East Malaysia edition of the procurement and project showcase, held in Kota Kinabalu, brought the initiative closer to contractors, consultants, suppliers, technology providers and specialist firms in the region following its inaugural edition in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia Airports managing director Datuk Mohd Izani Ghani said early engagement with the regional vendor community was essential given the scale and diversity of the development pipeline across East Malaysia.
