A HUSBAND and wife were injured after the MPV they were travelling in crashed into a herd of elephants crossing the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) near the Cheneh Toll Plaza towards Kuala Terengganu on Tuesday night.
The accident occurred at about 10.20pm at Kilometre 274.6 of the highway, involving a Toyota Estima driven by Abdul Wahid Ismail, 54, from Pasir Gajah Low-Cost Public Housing, Kemaman.
